As part of its special screening presentations, outdoor film project Projections on Lake is showing the 50 Go Public videos over several nights beginning September 8 at 8pm. Projections at Shops on Lake Avenue is an outdoor public showplace for artist-made films, videos and still images. The work is chosen for its dynamics for the site and its ability to enrich the community’s cultural experience. The projected images are cast directly on the wall adjacent to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at 415 South Lake Ave.

The Projections screenings will provide not only a chance to see the four-minute videos on a large screen, but also to see them in a public venue with other members of the community. We encourage viewers to bring friends, parents of students and to engage others in discussion of the films. Each one is independent, so attending any (or all) of the six nights will offer different experiences and perspectives.
