Angelo Pacifici is a director/cameraman, director of photography, photographer and writer who teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in cinematography at USC. His work has encompassed hundreds of commercials, documentaries, music videos and narrative projects and has received various awards including Addy’s and Cleos. Pacifici’s client list is both national and international and has included, American Airlines, Coca Cola, General Motors, Mexican Tourism, McDonalds, Infinity, Nissan, Minolta, Heineken, Target, Pac Bell, ANA, Budweiser, Tecate, Six Flags, Home Depot, Nescafe, AT&T, Hyundai, Blue Cross, Kraft, Ralphs, Western Union, Spain Tourism, Army National Guard and AAA. His Music Video client list has included, The Jackson’s, Michael Jackson, MC Hammer, Ricky Scaggs, Megadeth, Bozz Scaggs, Steve Miller, Alabama, Anita Pointer, Alan Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, and Carlene Carter. Pacifici is currently a consulting Director of Photography for Evergreen Films in Los Angeles, 3D feature film Walking with Dinosaurs. He has also been working with Sony Corporation in testing their most advanced PMWF3 35mm Imager Camera and will be at Sundance to represent the USC tests.
Pacifici’s still photographic work has been in numerous one man and group shows, including The Witte Museum in San Antonio Texas, The Third Eye gallery NYC, and was included in the Internationally acclaimed book, The Family of Children.
Pacifici taught Cinematography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, The American Film Institute and Loyola Marymount University before joining the faculty at USC. He also taught Photography at New Jersey City State University, International Center for Photography, The New School NYC. He regularly lectures, conducts seminars and teaches workshops for Kodak, Inner City Film-Makers and Occidental College.
