Christopher Cummings (Mentor)

Christopher Cummings began making films before he entered into the third grade. He attended the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and was accepted into an intensive film program at Wesleyan University. Before graduating high school, he directed the music video “A Tapestry of Memory”, which accompanied a panel of the AIDS Memorial Quilt on its journey around the country in 2001.

Christopher received his BA from the Brooks Institute of Photography and in 2006, his short film “Don’t Tell Lily” was selected by the school to be included in their Sundance Film Festival showcase. Christopher is the co-founder of Mirrorstone Media, a production company that fosters the creation of independent films, music videos, and documentaries.
